Talk to your niece first it that does not work then talk to her parents if that does not work then call the myspace dudes and see what you need to do to take legal action against you niece if having your daughters picture on her page is really that big of a problem for you.

Honestly no there isn't. I honestly feel that is the only way that she'll know that you don't appreciate it and that you want them removed. Don't yell at her about it, just ask her and express to her your concerns. I mean whats the worse she can say?? No. I mean if she doesn't take them down then she doesn't take them down, but that is the only thing you can do, because a child/person is going to do as they please whether or not is is legal or illegal. That is one thing we have to understand. I have pictures/albums of me on other peoples profiles that I didn't know about until I was told by friends and when I found out all I did was asked to be removed. Though I wasn't and they then started saying we were dating then all I could do was be upset. Try her, but be open minded of the individual you are talking to. All I can say it if you want something done it won't get done the correct way or expessed the right way unless you yourself does it. Good Luck!

why do you have a problem with it she is obviously showing her luv for her cousin and thats pretty obvious thats what your husband thinks as well myspace isnt horrid and there arent as many weirdos on their as most people think i hav pics of my cousins their kids my kid and so on on my page and never once have i had a problem with this?? yeah its legal but she still should of asked first. and in my eyes i think thats why you are having such a deal about it all , you dont know what myspace is all about and she didnt ask... check things out before you freak and ask her to take em off or even her parents. the sites can be put to where no one over 18 can see a page and vice versa things can be set to private to where only friends and family can see the page....

This is defintely legal. If the picture is of the child pornography type and taken willingly, then there's no problem. You're husband's niece was merely trying to capture a moment. That is not wrong. And if the niece isn't giving out your daughters personal information, then why are you so upset? Please, i know you love your daughter, but chill out.

I don't know if it is legal, but I know I would not want pic's of my daughter on myspace. Ask your niece to remove the pictures, let her know you don't feel comfortable with it for safety reasons and it is nice of her to want to show off her cousin. I'm sure she was not thinking of the implications when she posted them. =)

How bad are these pictures that it upset you so much? How old is your daughter? I do not think you should start with the legal end of it I would tell her that it makes you uncomfortable and to remove it. I don't think your niece thought she did anything wrong. Look to resolve the problem not make more
issues.

How old is your daughter? Old enough to have given your niece permission to post her picture?

Report it to MySpace if you don't want to talk to her about it. But it would be better if you were to ask her yourself to remove the photos. Their regulations clearly instruct people NOT to post photos of others without permission.

Yes, it's legal. It's not a big deal unless the pictures are revealing or not approved by the site. You could complain about the page to myspace. They're great about deleting people.

no but you can tell her to take them off, my myspace is private for my friends only so they can see my children and keep in touch but if your niece's myspace is public then anyone can get pics of your daughter i would go to her parents and get them off there are too many psychos out there hope this helps

I genuinely have been a instructor for 23 years in the secondary fields of English/history and it particularly is something that i might easily no longer do till I had the permission - written that the mothers and fathers knew and had no problems with it . whether it particularly is legal or no longer , i do no longer understand for specific , yet in on the instant's time i does not even go close to it. I genuinely have post in my college room a board the place scholars are unfastened to place their image or perhaps 2 sheets so as that they might put in a remark approximately themselves , no one else . I permit scholars positioned them up themselves or provide them to me and that i post them . My college room in user-friendly terms . those pictures are for my room in user-friendly terms and that i does not even start to think of of putting them on the cyber web the place some pedophile could have of challenge of looking them . i does not do it . instructors are already below scrutiny for each thing and you will continually locate somebody to locate something grimy in it .
