I would say between 2-4 a guest. Depends on how much and what other types of food there will be.

HAM 'N SWISS FINGER SANDWICHES

1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm finger rolls or any sm. egg base rolls, softer ones work better
1 lb. Oscar Mayer sandwich ham
8 to 10 slices Kroger aged Swiss cheese
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tsp. mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. poppy seeds

Melt butter. Stir in onion, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and poppy seeds. Split rolls and spread with mixture. Add ham and Swiss. Microwave on high for 1 minute or until cheese begins to melt. Enjoy!

FINGER TUNA SANDWICHES

1 (6 1/2 oz.) light tuna in water
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
2 tbsp. chopped cucumber
1/4 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black or white pepper
1/2 c. safflower mayonnaise OR
1/2 c. salad dressing
16 slices bread
4 slices longhorn cheese
1 c. small-curd cottage cheese
2 tbsp. sour cream
Black olives or stuffed olives for garnish

Drain tuna and flake. In a small mixing bowl combine tuna with onion, cucumber, parsley, salt, and pepper. Add mayonnaise and mix well.

HOT TUNA FINGER SANDWICHES:

Toast 8 slices of bread. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the tuna mixture over each of four slices of toast. Place sliced cheese on another four slices of toast. Combine and microwave for 20 seconds on HIGH.
Spread the remaining tuna mixture over four regular slices of bread. Blend remaining cottage cheese with sour cream and spread on the other four slices of bread. Combine into sandwiches and cut the crusts from the edges.

To serve Tuna Finger Sandwiches:
Cut each sandwich into 4 triangles. Top each sandwich with a slice of olive on a toothpick and arrange on a platter.

CHEESE - BACON FINGER SANDWICHES

1 loaf bread with crust removed

Mix:

1/2 lb. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 lb. fried bacon
1 sm. onion chopped
1 sm. pkg. sliced almonds
1 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Pepper to taste

Spread mix onto slice of bread and then cut into thirds. Place onto foil covered cookie sheet. May freeze until ready to cook. Cook uncovered at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

CHEESE CANAPES

1 lg. jar Kraft Old English cheese
1 stick butter
1 egg

Melt cheese and butter. Add beaten egg; then beat together with beater. Make bread and butter sandwiches, cut into 3 finger sandwiches. Frost each with mixture (except bottom). Place on cookie sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Note: Frost edges first. Frost all tops at once after all are on cookie sheet. (Finger sandwiches can be cut in quarters too.)

Baby Shower Sandwiches

1st of all It all depends on the time of day you are having the shower. If you are having it around a meal time obviously you will need more because people will be hungry if it is shortly after a meal time then you will need less. We always try to schedule things at 2 o'clock so that people don't expect to come and have a meal, they should have already had lunch and should not be hungry. If it is more towards 1 o'clock or so people will wait to eat and then they will be starving at the event.
The general rule of thumb is 1 whole sandwich per person. I don't think the deli tray make your own sandwich thing is a good idea for a baby shower, but to each his own. I would make whatever is the "popular" sandwiches are your area. For instance in the south we do not have an event without chicken salad sandwiches, it simply cannot be done LOL. ALSO, do not forget the kids! If any kids will be there throw in a PB&J or 2 for them (Make sure they are not allergic to peanuts first though!)

Hope this helps!
Congratulations and Good Luck!

A lot depends on what time of day the shower will be held, and what other foods are bring offered. As a rule of thumb, I would allow at least one whole sandwich per person (4 finger sandwiches).

Other than deli meat, you can make egg salad, chicken salad, cream cheese mixed with crushed pineapple or cream cheese mixed with minced stuffed olives. Pimento cheese spread would also work. Pick 4 types.

Don't forget the fresh veggies and fruit! Good luck.

well most people will want more than one finger sandwich, SO I would say about three sandwiches per person have three small tables with a lazysuzan and 35 sandwhiches on each one.

WELL; I would say have three different kinds :]

AND IF UR POOR MAKE EM URSELF :] (i'm not being mean)

Make Over 200 Juicy, Mouth-Watering Paleo Recipes You've NEVER Seen or Tasted Before?

My baby shower was on Sunday, we were about 18 people and it was from 3 to about 6pm.
There was a veggie & dip platter, 2 platters of sandwiches (the size you get when you order them from the grocery store, with egg salad, ham, and chicken fillings), a cheese & grapes platter with a disg of crackers, little pizza slices (the plain rectangular kind), a tray of sweets with cookies & squares, and of course the shower cake. That was about the perfect amount, along with juices & sodas, hot tea & coffee.
Congratulations to the mommy-to-be! Hope she has as much fun as I did!

well, you can always add more things to it. I would do 3 per person, a variety of maybe chicken salad, ham salad, egg salad, cucmber and watercress ( that way you have veggie options). Use cookie cutters to cut out the bread for some interesting shapes. Then, add a nice fruit salad with fresh berries and maybe a snack mix, like rice crackers, or something out of the ordinary. Good luck!

I would make two per person, if they're little. I would make several different kinds, as they shouldn't be too expensive: tuna sala, sliced ham and cheese, and maybe something a little out of the ordinary--cucumber and cream cheese, or something non-meaty. Look for recipes at www.bhg.com or www.marthastewart.com. Have fun!
