There has been a story on the news for a couple of weeks that a dog rescue group,Safe Harbor Doberman & Min. Pin. Rescue, was victimized and a few of the dogs were killed. Now the news has changed and the story now is the woman that was running this rescue starved the dogs and they were killing each other for food!!!! How sick!!! The dogs were taken from her and no doubt she will be charged in the courts. There is over 65 dogs and there are all kinds, not just Dobermans and Min. Pins. These dogs are being put up for adoption this Saturday, March 10 and will be at the Dover, Ohio Fairgrounds. The hours are going to be noon to three o'clock. My question is if your live near here will you PLEASE adopt one of these poor dogs? If there is a rescue group reading this could you please help these dogs? I thank everyone who took the time to read this and may God bless you if you decide to make the trip and adopt one of these precious lives.

I'd love to, but unfortunately, I live in Georgia. Is there a fund or something I can donate to? I hate seeing animals mistreated and want to help in any way I can, but taking in another dog right now isn't an option for me.

Get back to me on that, and I hope each and every one of those guys goes to a loving home. God bless everyone who even stops by to see them, and eternal youth and health on those who adopt these poor guys.

It is honourable of you to care so much. You are a good person to express your sorrow and your want for these dogs to have a better life.

But....I only recommend experienced people to adopt these dogs. They are going to need time and alot of obed. training and a healthy home enviroment to get these type of tortured dogs to come back to being what they were meant to be.

Unfortunately, after reading some of the entries from (some) people on this site....Some of them (not all) should never own a dog, let alone adopt a mentally tortured Doberman from a shelter.

God Bless You, for you entry...and have a great day!

There are HUNDREDS of rescues that shouldn't be doing rescue. I do believe most people have good intentions but it is best to work with an established rescue.

This one is bothering me:

I got her form a bad rescue too:
