Basically, next to our building in Leeds there is a bit of dual that the BMW garage uses as an acceleration and show off test track for people test driving their tin cans. It's noisy and dangerous.

I was toying with the idea of reporting them to the old bill.

What do you think?

If you truely feel that there is undue risk teken and that it presents a danger to public property and motorists, by all means, contact the police department. These shops have a responsibility to ensure that their actions do not endanger others, and if this shop has ignored that responsibility, then you must take action to remind them. I would practicly suggest speaking to the owner of the shop and inform him that it is dangersous, and if they do not stop doing this, you will report it to the police. Hope this helps, Good Luck.

Listen, ignore all those people who say its none of your business. It IS your business because it is a matter of public safety, weather someone feels they need to test drive a vehicle or not, they are still bound by the traffic laws of the city, and if the police department feels they need to turn a blind eye, get the camcorder, and take it to a national new station, I'm sure the Police Commisioner and Govenor would be entrawled by the explination of how a civilian who has rights was blown off so the police could stay in good standing with a BMW shop. Imagine if a child was crossing the street when one of the retards was speeding down the road, how would it go over for that shop then. Please, go to the police, and if they tell you they allow it, ask them why. and if they blow you off, go higher and higher untill you are answered with an answer that satisfies you or stop their wreckless and dangerous acts. Good luck

if it bother you, call police. it is illegal for them to do that.they must consider other people life style. i would contact the police right away or get a camcorder and record it. the business would go out of business if it was air on public tv.

You can go ahead, but I doubt you'll make any friends. If it's not causing you any problems I'm not sure why you care.
