Many Christians today think motives really count in Christian living. They feel that the motives of one being at "these places" justifies whether u've sinnned or not.

The bible says to abstain from the very appearance of evil. I would say no, Christians should never go to night clubs.

extremely relies upon on why you go there, in case you opt for a drink with acquaintances and not get under the effect of alcohol then no its not a sin. in case you prefer to bounce and not lust after the ladies then no its not a sin. purely undergo in concepts you as a christian could be an occasion to others. I as a christian used to regulate a bar and specific there have been situations that I had sinful concepts, yet i'm happy there is grace.

It's not a sin to go to a night club, it's what the club stands for.. What if there was a night club, that sold soft drinks and juice, and had religious(music) concerts all night?? But if you consider yourself and christian and going to a club that sells booze, dancing and single mingling, then maybe yes, pending on your ententions.. thats a catchy question. Me myself would not go to a night club, because it's not a christian setting and I dont' drink and don't want to be around a bunch of drunks.

motives do count, God knows your motives. I absolutely believe that if you go in the club with a sinful nature and do sinful things then its a sin. My husband and I go to nightclubs to dance together and play pool with friends. We are not there for sinful reasons (hooking up, getting plastered...) so we are not sinning.

I think it would depend upon one's motives in going. I have relatives who own a bar. I do not drink alcohol or go to those places usually, but when these relatives celebrated their 25th Wedding anniversary, I came. It was to honor them and their love. I sat with my Pepsi and smiled as people came in and offered their congratulations. Never felt wrong, or sinful.

Im speaking of myself only, I live IN the world but I am not OF it. A true Christian will not darken the doorway of a night club unless they are there to witness...

True, what is your motive for being there. To have a good time? That is OK.

To meet a woman and score?
Not OK.

To get smashed, just about falling down drunk?
Not OK.

To meet other people and enjoy each others company?
OK.

Hoestly, yes. What are you going there for? To lust? Whats the point in going to one? Will it help your testimony? Remeber we (Christians) are supposed to be seperated from this world, not the same as every other joe..

A place that may make us tempted...we shouldn't be in.

This world belongs to the devil and his demons.......nightclubs are full of half-naked women and alcohol....

Need I say more?
