No you do not need to lose weight. The first 5 feet should be 100 lbs. and then add 5 lbs. for each additional inch in your height. At 5'6" you should be 130. Five lbs. on either side of that is a normal weight.

Depends on your build. Ask your doctor, he or she could tell you a good healthy weight range. It also depends on what your mass is made up of. The BMI and lean to fat ratios are important factors in determining ideal weight.

I'm 5'6" and weigh 118 and my doctor told me not to drop below that. I am also an endurance athlete so my body mass is mostly lean muscle.

It's a very personal thing and remember, weight is just a number. It's how you carry it that matters!

Nope, you are a perfect weight. You are just right. Congrats, especially if you have not had to work to get there!

If you are worried and it is not due to self concious problems you could focus on toning your muscles. But not on losing weight, you dont need to lose any.

Have a good day, Good luck and good health to you.

Sounds perfect to me. The Average women I read in this magazine was 5' 4" and weigh 140 pounds. So I guess that makes you thinner than average.

no. if you have a problem with your appearnace, stand tall to flatten your stomach. Just eat a healthy diet and do regular exercises (like in P.E. if you're a student) and you will not GAIN, and probably drop a few pounds in the process.
