Open a new Word document and click on the Insert menu and choose File. Locate the first file you want to insert and click on it and then click on the Insert button at the bottom. Do this for rest of the files and they will all be combined in the one document.

If you want to make only a word document from these 40 documents, copy and paste one after the other is the only probable answer according to me.

If you want all of them to be a part of one single another file-type, then it is possible to do that using winzip. Create a zip file and select all these 40 documents and one zip-file will be created. When you unzip this, you will find all 40 word docs intact as separate files.

Hope it helps....!!!!

You can just copy and paste them all into one. Pretty simple really.
