Everyone I bought (teflon) has peeled or scratched within a month!

I want to cook pancakes, eggs, etc so they won't stick to the pan, which one is great.

I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PRICE, I just want it to be great and last a long time!!!

Best frying pan I ever owned was the T-Fal with a red center thermo spot to tell you when it was the right temperature, it last forever and is fairly inexpensive, It is all I own or will ever buy again. You can buy it at Walmart or Target, and I added the link below to their direct website to find out more.

In this day and age of hurry-up we all try to take shortcuts, Teflon is a shortcut, it saves time in getting our cooking instrument to the right temp and clean-up is a snap. I do use Teflon pans but replace them often because they aren't that expensive, but then it comes to "true" cooking I use my Stainless Steel pans, when you finally "get" how to use them they also are just as convenient. The right temp and the right lubricant are all you need. Slow down and learn the advantages of Stainless Steel, they'll last you for a long, long time.

CAST IRON. A WELL SEASONED CAST IRON SKILLET IS THE BEST COOK-WARE YOU COULD USE FOR JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. IT HEATS VERY EVENLY. AND THERE IS A WIDE SELECTION TO CHOOSE FROM. I HAVE TWO 3 INCH SKILLETS (GREAT FOR FRYING EGGS), TWO 5 INCH SKILLETS (PERFECT FOR INDIVIDUAL OMELETTES OR SMALL PANS OF CORNBREAD). THERE ARE REGULAR 8 INCH SKILLETS, 10 INCH SKILLETS, 10 INCH FRYERS (THESE ARE DEEPER THAN THE REGULAR), DUTCH OVENS, GRIDDLES, ETC. THEY TAKE A LITTLE BIT LONGER TO HEAT UP THAN THE TEFLON YOU'RE USED TO, AND AGAIN, A NEW SKILLET WILL NEED TO BE "SEASONED" WELL BEFORE YOU USE IT. THEY AREN'T INEXPENSIVE, BUT THEY LAST FOREVER! GOOD LUCK!!!

The best pan to use is cast iron. Properly seasoned and maintained it will last a lifetime.

Stainless steel also does a great job, just don't use scouring pads on it.

I got an electric griddle for a x-mas gift and let me tell ya!!!! This thing is wonderful. Its nonstick and you can make everything on it. You can do a whole breakfast on it in one shot. Pancakes, eggs, sausage the whole shebang!! It works great for hamburgers, pork chops, chicken breast and etc.
