Poor circulation in your hands and feet. It affects these more as they are smaller parts on your body and they have the least amount of blood flow to beging with. I have this too and it is a pain on winter nights. The bed is cold enough with out adding the cold feet. It is not a major problem but if you are really concerned you could call and talk to your doctor. Hope this helps knowing you are not alone. Good luck and Good health to you.

Obviously it could be a number of medical conditions other than poor circulation. I can say from personal experience that it can also be a sign of low blood pressure, or perhaps maybe you are not eating enough. Oh and invest in some fleece bed socks to wear in a bed, they work much better than woollen ones.

it sounds like bad circulation, i get really cold when i get tired or am sleeping and when i was little i used to turn a bluish tone as my heart rate dropped so low, and it doesn't cause me any discomfort.
if i were you i would take your concerns to the doctor just to put your mind at ease.

This sounds like it could be Renaud's disease. The arteries in the fingers and toes contract causing them to turn white, numb then blue. Then they go red again as the circulation returns. Look on this web site www.raynauds.demon.co.uk and check with your doctor.

I have it too!!
I sleep with two duvets, pj's, and the heating on!!
I'm sitting here with the heating just turned off, and my hands are cold!
As the saying goes, cold hands warm heart!lol
They also associate it with poor circulation.
Go to the doct if you are worried.

see a doctor. you might have a circulation problem where your extremities, hands and feet, are not getting enough blood. this is because your body keeps most of your blood near your core, ie your heart, to maintain body temp there. get it checked out.
