India has two national airlines: Air India and Indian Airlines. The state just approved their merger, which should take some time. Air India is based in Mumbai, but it has only one flight a week from Mumbai to Goa. Indian Airlines, however, is based in Delhi, but has three or four daily flights from Mumbai to Goa. Other airlines serving from Mumbai to Goa are: Air Deccan (two daily flights), Air Sahara (one daily flight), Go Air (one daily flight), Jet Airways (four daily flights), Kingfisher Airlines (two daily flights) and SpiceJet (four weekly flights).
