just tell them" YES, I am the proud mother of my son(s) "
and feel proud about yourself that you at the age of 41 have given birth to a healthy child :) Congratulations :)

Sometimes you wonder if people use their brains before they open their mouths. Depending on your mood that day, you can have fun or be upset, just go with how you are feeling. If someone is as rude to ask you if it is your grandchild, I would say no, he's my great-grandchild. You could just tell it like it is, no, it's my child, my oldest is 15 and is a little young to be having a child yet. Or you could just yell at them and tell them how rude they are.
People ask me all the time how many months pregnant I am (I will probably be having a baby in the next week or two.) When I tell them my due date, they always feel like they need to comment on how small I am. Most freak out telling me there is something wrong with me, or they tell me that I must be wrong about the due date. I usually respond with the fact that my doctor is happy about my measurements right now and I just carry my sweetie deep. She's actually a pretty good size for her age right now.
I also get people who tell me it's a boy, and we are positive it's a girl (tons of ultrasounds...including a 3D.) You just have to ignore people sometimes. I'm not sure why they think it's ok to ask these ignorant questions and must give their opinions on everything.

If they are rude to you about it, be rude back. I am 38 and I have a 9 month old baby girl who I wouldn't trade for anything. I don't know why some people think they have the right to be so rude. If they ask if you're the mom or grandma, tell them you are the mom. There is nothing to be ashamed of. I know how you feel. My 2 yr old was standing at the end of an aisle while shopping one day and this man says, Oh, you better go back to grandma ! I said, I'm his mom thankyou very much! He just turned and walked away. Be strong. Who cares what people think!

Well sometimes people do and say or ask rude and dumb things , in theory it is normal to assume a 41 years old woman is a grandmother (it's rude to ask but not to think it). The next time someone ask you tha same thing, ask them back "What makes you think it is my grandchild?", "Do I look like granny to you?", "Was my 15 or 10 year son that got someone else daughter pregnant?" Don't answer to stupid and rude questions, just ignore them and keep walking.

That is very rude. I would never ask someone that either. I would look at them and say I'M HIS MOTHER (not yelling) just with a stern voice. I one time had a ladie ask me if my boys had diffrent dads. Because they look so diffrent. I was like OMG! I would never ask that. I would be to embarased. Some people have nerve, dont they?

I really don't think people are trying to be rude when they ask that! I found alot of people like to talk about they're own children or grandchildren and that is a way they can spark up the conversation. I wouldn't take offense unless someone gives you nasty looks!!

Listen, I know a guy whose wife is 30 years younger than he is, he's pushing 85, and his kids are 17 and 18. Everyone who first meets him mistakes him for Grandpa, he just smiles and corrects them to Dad. If someone makes an honest mistake like that, just do the same - smile and tell them he's your youngest son. If they're flat out rude about it, there's no need to smile when you correct them. =)

Some people can be so rude at times. The best thing to do is to just simply smile and tell them he is your youngest of 3 children. If they try to pry and ask more questions, just walk away. Let them wonder......

I would just smile and "actually, he is my great grandchild", then enjoy the surprised looks on people's faces.

Just smile and say "I'm his mom!" or you could even say "Oh me? I'm MUCH too young to be a grandmother."
