Are they asking you for help to pay their hotel bill, airline ticket, or medical expenses. If so, then you have a scammer. The gal you are talking to is a male not a female. It is a scam people.

Yes, people still fall for this stuff. Lately, the nigerian scammers have been modifying their scams and changing their pictures around.

I never heard of anyone being arrested for not paying a utility bill. The scammers put pressure on a victim and their is always a sense of urgency.

It's obvious that it's a scam. If someone would fall for a scam like that, he/she needs serious help!

I had a brother who called me from the City collections office in Montserrat, he was late with his utility bills and they were going to arrest him. I had to send $$$ western union to keep him out of jail.
