There are. However, you need to be very careful of who you are dealing with.

There is a new breed of loan out there called an Advance Fee Loan. They will take your money with the promise of a loan and you'll never get your loan. You just lost your advance fee.

Know who you are dealing with. Do not give any information, ss number, account numbers, anything, to someone without checking them out thoroughly first.

Read the Federal Trade Commission report (link below) on loan scams.

Get a Secured Credit Card and build up your credit. Never use more then 50% of your available balance, close the card after 1 year of GOOD transactions. Wait 2 months and do it again.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.

I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,

You might be able to with a very high interest rate. Beware of sites that will loan you money after you put some money down. If they're not willing to loan you the entire amount, they're looking to rip you off.
