had trouble with txu

ok they shut my electric off over $12 when i called in and paid the amount they said i owed so then they said i had to start a new account which the one i just paid was new so they said i was going to have to put another deposit up but i told them i just did and so they transfered it well i still had a credit of 162.44 well they said they would be out with in 24 hrs but they werent so i called and it took a week for them to come out so finally they said they wouldnt charge me the $97 after hours reconnect fee well guess what? they did anyways and i called and griped at them and they said they took it off and my bill was like $100 more than it was supposed to be so i told them they needed to fix it so they got my bill down to 155.64 well then this month i get a bill saying i had a past due balance of $97 and i called and they said no we took that off but they were charging me for it on the bill bc the bill was $270 and at the bottom it says i was being charged for a past due balance of

$97 and my total usage only came to 173 and i told them that and they said yes that i only owe 173 but then i asked for a print out and they hung up on me this has been the deal with them the past couple of months... so what do i do?

I've had problems with their billing in the past. They're basically like any other power company. Scum sucking bastards who will screw you over if you let them. Be persistent, keep calling. Eventually they'll have to fix things up.

Oh yeah...But I think that they got bought out by another company, so I don't think that you have to worry about that too much now
