Aww.. dont be shy. Just ask him straight out- do u wanna be friends or perhaps more than friends.. and just take it from there. The worst thing he can say is NO.. but i dont think he will. ;)

Well he just might say that, u did say it yourself at the beginning of your sentence. Sometimes it's not best to make an announcement of how u feel, when u haven't known the person long. There are so many ways to "show" a person u like them without having to say a word. I would do that instead. It's much more powerful, and alot less intimidating to guys. Good luck

I would not tell him you want to get to know him and his family better. I would start to talk to him and ask him what things does he like to do. See what you have in common. Maybe you both like the same things and can do something together. Once you start to hang out with a guy I am sure he will sense you like him and if he feels the same he will let you know. I would not just come out and say it as you do not know what his res-ponce will be and I think once he gets to know you he will like you too.

well he'd be right. if u dont know each other well, maybe u should just ask him to hang out first. then get to know each other more and then tell him u like him. but u dont want to look like a fool when u tell him u like him and dont have a good reason as to y.

Well...just tell him what you do like about him from what you know this far...it's a start i guess. And then hint at the fact that you would like to get to know him better...and then ask him out! What's the worst he can say, no?

Go for it! Tell him that you've seen him and would like to get to know him more. IF he should reply why do you like me when you don't even know me, I would reply to him with : and who's fault is that? It will open the door to more conversation and hopefully initiate some "getting to know me" time! Good luck and just be yourself!

Your mom is on the right track. Invite him over to play games or compare homework or to hang out at the mall.
The " I like you or I love" can come later.
Take time to know him.

Sometimes, being too upfront can chase a guy away so my advise is that you just take it slow. Get to know him better cos sometimes all that glitters is not gold...then see what develops from there.

Say, "I love you sweet cheeks, will you be my valentine". No, don't say that, I'm just kidding. Just say you like him, and tell him why you like him. If you are following him too much though, then you need to stop. People don't like to be watched, that's called stocking. Thanks for reading, be honest, that's the best advice I can give.

Tell him you are flattered, but you aren't interested in pursuing a relationship at this time. If he persists, then you tell him, "Let's be friends." That's the kiss of death for guys, and they usually take the hint.
