sexiest, off-putting and damn right nasty...?

whats the sexiest accent you have heard and whats the one that makes your skin crawl?
also, what accent do you find intimidating??

remember our americans friends, scottish accents are not the same as english. most times the english accent is classed as british but its totally different :-)

I can tell you that the accent that makes my skin crawl is the nasal "Fran Drescher" type of Queens accent. Makes me run from the room with my hands over my ears. This sometimes has comical results when I visit the Big Apple.

Oddly, my barely noticeable Texas accent really comes out the minute I step off the plane in Newark. I've had people ask me if I'm from Fort Stockton at times when it slips out! (The "Aaahhhm frum Waaaayyst Teck-sus" accent) Most times, though, my voice is more like "midwest radio announcer" with a few local southeast Texas vowel shifts in it.

What do I like best? British accents on women. Not Australian, not EnnZed, but "BBC British" accents.

I find Harvard accents to be snooty and off-putting. Case in point, John Kerry's speech patterns.

sexiest- A genuine Texas to Virginia southern accent [can't be faked or it is a turn off]

off-putting- Any fake accent that is not genuine, or a hoarse [cruddy] sounding female voice.

damn right nasty- some ear piercing high pitched nagging voice [especially through the nose (nasal)] in a New England accent would actually make me run without looking back. [what a frickin scary thought!]

As for skin crawling...nothing is more horrifying than that North/South Carolina drawl, y'all.

Haven't found an intimidating accent as of yet.

South American- you take your pick on the country- they all sound so hot!!! And Australian guys. Oh I could just eat them all up.

Intimidating- maybe middle eastern because it is harder for me to understand.

Skin crawl? I really cant say there is any- but when someone speaks in Hmong or Somalian no matter how hard i try to understand, I just cant. Not even close.

love british or french accents...epecially those from the Islands....really dislike really heavy southern drawls because I don't understand a darn thing they are saying
