Just wondering if it could ever be possible to somehow transfer robotic body parts on to a human, and how many could you put on a human? Could you make an entirely robotic human?

It's already being done: artificial hearts, ear devices for hearing, artificial limbs.

As i know there are already a few simple robitc arms and legs used to replace missing body parts, but medicine has still a lot of problem joining machine parts with the human.

The most difficulte parts seems to be the connectoin between the robotic controll and the human brain. Up till know they just use some nerve tracts of the missing bodypart and connect it somehow to a controler device which than moves the robitc part.

But even if the medicine can integrate the robotic part smoothly into the human body, there are still no robotic arms or legs which could fully replace the human part. They lake of sensibility, accuracy and durability.

So i guess it will still take some time till u can replace ur legs with some supa robotic legs, and jump from roof to roof.

It has already been done with arms and legs. So, yes, it is possible, and about making an entirely robotic human? Well it wouldn't really be a human anymore, but who knows, anything is possible. Wouldn't it be great if you could replace failing organs with it. I think if these parts were actually placed IN a human they would probably reject it though.

That would be called a robot.

We are already using robotic parts in human bodies:

Arms, Legs, Heart...

1...watch the news. obviously they have already start to put robotic parts on humans.

2...making a robtic would not be a human...it would be made up of metal...no feelings, or thought. nothing.

The technology to replace certain body parts e.g., arm, hand, leg, with fully powered devices is certainly available. Currently the problem is money. Just who will pay for such a thing? Surely not the HMO. It will probably take a government size bit of funding to make it practical, but that's just how we got these cheap personal computers....
eh?
