Do they have some kind of issues. My mother keeps saying I'm fat, especially since i ate a piece of cheesecake last week( AND I NEVER DO, and i eeat healthy )..

My mother didn't go to school and doesn't understand genetics.. i keep telling her that WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT BODIES.. and she just keeps caling me fat. Sure i have some bit of flab in abs, but i work out, i don't have double chin, i have visible abs, and i eat good. And i don't over eat.

Anyways, her calling me fat is making me feel like a failure. No wonder some people become anorexic, m others can be mean.

I'm 27 and did not come from a family with genes to have chissled face and stuff, my face is round and usualy my relatives have all had flab.

first of all, you do not have to feel like that. now you are in a really good time in your life, so i think your mother just envies you. you do not need to listen to her.

To loose weight:

1. Go 4 jogging daily in d morning.
2. Do regular exercise.
3. Hav control on diet.
4. Avoid oily junk food.
5. Increase ur activities.
6. Never undrgo dieting.

JOGGING

I think your mother has issues. If the doctor (who KNOWS what fat is...he went through 7 years of school, I think he can diagnose obesity!)..if he doesn't say you're fat, then you're not. Your mother has obviously bought into the thinking that to be happy, you have to be skinny and eat only vegetables. It's sad, because mothers are supposed to be there for support and love, and she is obviously not.
Is there any way you can bring this up to her? Is there maybe another family member or friend that she will listen to? I think that this subject needs to be broached with her...it could be that she is struggling and she's lashing out. Or maybe she just needs a rude awakening...because if her behavior continues, she is going to damage her relationship with you.
Please don't let this ruin your life....you are not a failure. You are absolutely right that everyone's body is different, and I sincerely hope that you can be happy with your's.

Yeah, sounds like your mother might have some psychological problems. Even if you were overweight, for a mother to call her child fat is just wrong. Did your mother ever have an eating disorder or body image disorder herself? Does she have obsessive compulsive disorder? It might be a control issue, if she can control your weight, she has control over you. I think she needs to seek some counselling to overcome this, because it is affecting you psychologically as well.

Just remember, it's her with the issue and not you. The doctor said you are healthy and that is all that matters.

Does this happen when you guys fight or on a regualr basis. If this happens when you argue then she is trying to make you feel bad but if she does it on a regualar basis then she is mean and you should talk to her about it.
