From the heart of seoul I believe it took a little over an hour by vehicle, but remember seoul is huge, so it can take an hour to get from one end of seoul to the other. That and the traffic in seoul can be terrible, so if you have an alternate mode of transport it could be faster. It really depends on what part of seoul you're in. I believe yongin is in the south east. Busan Is on the other side of the country, it'd take probably 8 hours to drive.

It all depends on where in Seoul you depart from. Yongin is between Suwon and Seoul. It may take you 1 hour + (central Seoul), or considerably less if you're on the south side of Seoul.

In regard to P/Busan, Seoul is 3 hours on the KTX (high-speed train) from there.

If you're trying to get from Busan to Yongin, probably your best bet would be KTX to Cheonan, regular train to Suwon, then a bus to Yongin...or maybe (not sure) there's a bus from Cheonan to Yongin.

Yongin is the site of the largest "folk villages" in Korea, so buses there are frequent from Seoul, and probably the signs are in English!

Public transportation is easy, frequent and not too expensive in Korea!!
