Well, I am a Saint Bernard breeder and mine weighed in at 167 lbs at one year. He is very big boned and not fat by any means. I breed only LARGE Saints. He is now 209 lbs and16 mos old. Most do not reach this size and most should be about 160 at adulthood. I have a female that is 135 and don't expect her to get any larger. Male Saints under 160 pounds at adulthood are not breeding quality and should be neutered. Read the standard. A full grown male should weigh between 160-200 lbs. The standard does mention a minimum however not a maximum weight.

It is my objective to keep the breed as pure as possible. Saints are known for their massive size. Breeding inferior dogs is making the breed size diminish.

It depends on the sex of the dog and the size of the parents. Your vet can give you the answer as well as the St bernard club members.
