I suppose the only folks who can answer your question honestly are designer dog breeders.
Somehow, I don't believe there are many on this forum.

Well you could look up a few words in the dictionary if you would like to get a better idea about people who cross breeds and then put a cute name on them to sell them for high prices and sacrifice genetics and quality. I would start with words like scam or con artist and see what you come up with. This would give you a start on how these people operate.

I'm pretty sure its just like being any other irresponsible pet owner who doesn't spay/neuter their dogs and has mutts, except, you breed on purpose. People who "breed" mutts, or "designer dogs" are low in my book, lower than just regular old Backyard Breeders. Look at Petfinder and see how many wonderful "designer dogs" are in our shelters. Please spay and neuter your pets.
