and making fun of them , and people with no religion insulting every one else? did you see muslims insulting other religions? i didn't, because we have respect for them.

The "Christians" doing that are as heretical as the "Muslim" terrorists. God loves all of us who spread Peace and Love in His name and I am certain those who spread hatred and violence in His name are all making big problems for themselves. Peace be with you

People hold to their beliefs with ferocity. And tend to fear what they don't understand. The way they deal with their fear is to attack. And many Abrahamic religions are taught that people from other faiths are evil. That they've been corrupted by the devil. It makes them seem less human to the person, and thus easier to attack. Muslims are no less guilty of it than Christians. Christians, Muslims, and Jews all pick on each other. The only time they can seem to agree, is when they gang up to attack Atheists, or Agnostics, or Witches. It's not totally the fault of the religion, its ingrained into humanity- to be right is the supreme. It's less about any god than it is the fact that people cant stand to be pr oven wrong.
And for the Christians above trying to take the moral high ground saying "Well, at least we don't kill" there are a few million Witches burned to cinders who beg to differ. Christians just don't kamikaze to get rid of the opposition. Every major religion is guilty. But we're talking about majorities here, not individual people. I have many Christian friends. I have no Muslim friends that I know of, but that's just because I live in the national retirement state, which is comprised mostly of baptists

Nowadays there is lack of tolerance which is very much vital. First of all no body takes birth with a religious tag. All are born as human beings to a mother and father and all are sustained by the same air and same water and same food. The blood of all human beings are only red. Everybody is in need of food, clothing and accommodation. All exhibit love towards their kith and kin if not to neighbors. Nowadays heart has contracted. There is no real love anywhere. Selfishness and greed play major roles. All worship money. No body really follow their religious doctrines. No religion propagate hatred. All religions teach love, tolerance, brotherhood of man and fatherhood of God. Ignorance only is the cause of disrespect to others' religions. All are One. Be alike to everyone says Jesus. When they don't follow their own religious doctrines what can we do? nagarajan.

I don't have religion and I try to be respectful of others beliefs. I don't think that means I can't disagree with them. There have been Muslims (or trolls, hard to tell) on here saying things like accept Allah or die and go to hell. To people who post stuff like that I am sometimes disrespectful back, that sort of thing shouldn't be tolerated. I see it come from Christians too.
In practice I try not to judge all people by a label whether it is atheist, Christian, Muslim, or whatever. I try to judge people on an individual basis. There are wonderful people and bad people in all categories of life. It is not fair to lump them altogether, so don't think I automatically disrespect you or judge all Muslims to be bad.

Muslims (some) constantly insult other religions, particularly Judaism, and Buddhism. One word in Arabic for "infidel" is derived from the Arabic word for buddhist. No one is perfect.
Most religious people respect other faiths, but we all have our zealots. At least there are no Christian suicide bombers. Now THAT's disrespect for other's beliefs.

any religion that condemns others to be killed by the members of the condemning religion should not be tolerated and be destroyed or isolated.

Muslims have traditionally converted by the sword...in other words "convert or die". I thinking killing those that do not have the same beliefs is worse than insulting them...
Only Muslims kill unbelievers to get to heaven...suicide and murder in any form is unacceptable to Christians. For may Muslims, murdering Christians and Jews is their ticket to heaven.

Everybody thinks their religion or beliefs is right. And that everyone else is being foolish. But they don't stop to think that what they think is foolish, the other person holds dear to their hearts.

Please do not mix up christians who disagree with you on theology with others who just dislike you.
christians do not insult muslims, or they are not supposed to.
however, we would like to know why we are being persecuted in muslim countries. it is something to think about.
