possession by evil spirits?

If you were possessed, could you drive it out yourself or would you always need someone else to do it for you ??

in films you always need a priest, but in reality?

Interesting Question, I would like to think that if your faith is strong enough you will beable to but because of the seriousness & evil of being possesed you will need a holy person to help you out. Whatever religion you are , you would need a person that devotes his or her time to God to help you out.

I have seen this happen & it worked after a muslim priest done this, you need people to continously pray for you until this thing is out of you.


There are different ways of doing it but this is the one i saw.

Also once the evil thing is out of the person, the person should rethink thier lifestyle & bring themselves closer to God.

Everyone on this planet is possessed by some kind of evil although not necessarily a spirit. People are possessed by greed and lust and fear, happiness etc etc. as far as spirits go I doubt that one would even want to try and take over my body and if one did get in side the poor thing would probably leave all by itself and if it didnt I wouldnt need a priest or anyone else to get rid of it. A persons mind it a power ful thing and you can control pretty much everything that goes on with your body if you put your mind to it.

If you are able to read the Word of God from the Holy Bible daily you need to stay in the Word and keep saying "It is Written" and the demon will flee. If you are not able or the demon will not let you read the Word of God seek a man of God. Either way it is God's Word that makes the demon or familiar spirit leave you. Denounce any occult or evil practices that you have done in the past. Ask the Father in Jesus' name for deliverance. A curse, without a cause, does not come. Once the evil spirit leaves stay in the Word of God and pray throughout the day without ceasing. If you return to any evil practices you open up for the demons to return and your last state is worse than your first.

I wanna hear more answers to this question, but yeah ... Being under control by the demon, that makes sense, anyway, it always goes unsolved, and people never find cures to possession, otherwise it would of never been here since the beginning of time, like there would of been a way to heal it, as a matter of fact, only God can free a person, but only if the person's heart is towards staying calm, and humble, and not cocky, and rebellious !

in reality, who really knows.... i think that it would be possible to drive a demon out of one's self, but it would be extrememly hard because they tend to flaunt one's greatest weaknesses
