It was in a cardboard box and then inside was a foil packet.. It had potato/bacon stuff inside with oil on it and u used to fry it?!

I know what you mean. They still sell it in Sainsburys. Its title contained something like "brunch meal". Yes the potatoes and bacon are sort of compressed together and you have to separate them when it warms in the pan. Smells odd when you open the foil but tastes OK. Some varieties had onion and/or egg in them.

i know it but I don't think it has a particular name it was just Potato and bacon, did it have a hint of scrambled egg possibly? Was it from Asda? I remember getting that while in uni and it was really smelly before it was cooked but once cooked it was yummy.

I once bought something like that from Safeway when we had one(its closed now) and i think it was called something Brunch but i don't remeber and it was a bit like bubble and squeak but with bacon. Sorry i couldn't be more help xxx.

I know exactly what you mean, but cannot remember it's name. I haven't tried to find it for a long time. I think I used to buy it in Marks and Spencers food hall. It was a good store cupboard stand-bye as it kept for a long time.
