By saying you are not attracted to them makes them feel ugly. I would say that rather then string you along I am really not interested in dating. I am sorry but I am not looking to play games. It would be more appreciated in the long run.

Well it should be easy to let them know gently that there just isnt an attraction. Great as a friends but nothing more.

Just be honest. Honesty is always the best policy. I know they would be really pissed off if you pity-dated them. So just tell them the truth, and they will eventually get over it. We all do.

Well.. Just get them to like someone else.. Avoid them until you do.
