Try Valerian root. To me it "slows down" my brain so I can't think of so many issues at once. You can get it at GNC.

Dont do pot it will make ur anxiety worse!!! go to therapy and speak with a dr about your options i would stay away from meds at all cost at this point. try vitamins and herbal remedys. if it starts to cripple your life then an ssri would be more approprate for you. but once your on them you hooked and its hard to get through the withdrwawal even if your weaned slowly. Maybe try buspar, its an anti-anxiety with low side effects and non addicting. thats what im trying now.

Taking no medicine at all. Have you tried relaxing, it's difficult to start, but it can help. In very though moments of anxiety try tightening up your muscles in your body, start by clenching you fist, hold for a few seconds, then tighten up your arm then relax, pull in you stomach muscles, legs etc, this should help to relax your anxiety for short periods of time, but each evening, try just to relax and listen to soft music, some like to by relaxing tapes, which talk you thorough the relaxing process, try this also, have lights dim or use candles in a darken room.

Rubbing or smelling lavender is also good to help you relax and to calm your anxiety levels down. There are also a few others, cant remember what they are, also taking Vitamin B6 is good. Good luck with your anxiety problems and I hope this is of help to you.

Speak with your physician and do some research on propranalol or inderal (spelling?). There are also some anti-depressants that may help with this.

You might also check into guided imagery/meditation. Sounds True has a CD called "Anxiety Relief" and you may also look at Brain Sync.

You might also look into biofeedback or hypnosis.

Good luck!
