Can I get one at any bank or just one where I have an account?

Does the bank teller know who it's going to or just the amount?

A money order is a check that you buy from any store or Bank that sells them. The teller or cashier does not know who you are sending them to. Because you fill out the personal information. They only put in the amount.

You can buy some orders at the corner convenience store. You hand them the cash and they print out a check to whomever you want to pay money to. For a small fee of course.

Its like a check, but it has already been paid for. You give a clerk the cash and he prints the money order, tehn you send it to pay your bills. The thing is it cant be intercepted, it is made out to a specific party
