I know they just opened some but not the career field I'm in. So I'm waiting and was wondering how much longer till they open more? Thanks

not for the forseeable future. over all, the AF is very overmanned. We are talking years, most likely.

Don't expect it to happen anytime soon, unless you are a psychologist. There's currently alot of fall-out from the Walter Reed medical center political BS. Congresspeople are complaining that military psychologists are only 40% manned. There MIGHT be a chance they'll be letting more of those guys soon because of politics.

Otherwise--don't expect it. The FY08 budget isn't looking that great.

I've heard the Air Force is scaling back. You have different information that I have.

Doubt they will be opening up many more, especially if your career field is adequetly manned or over manned.
