At times if the premise that the original question is based on is not sound, it can be helpful to question the premise the question originated from.

Not all the time, but often. sometimes answering a question with a question is the best way to bring out the answer,(The question is the answer).

I will also do so because I doubt the motivation of the asker. Many Trolls use a question to trap people into an answer that they can Violate. Especially Muslims, and Atheists.
