All my clients are always advised to wear a "Money belt" and
keep valuables in the "safe deposit box". When you travel you
should only take items that you can replace (or live with the "Lost"). Buy insurance on all cell phones, buy travel insurance, and who cares about "Shoes". Wake up, get a life,
you are respondsible as they are your belongings...first lesson of life---there is no "fair" in life Sorry...Mimi

U cant hold em responsible, to begin with if a person's item went missin, its bcoz of a person's carelessness.Hotels/resorts cant take responsibility for that.Unless it was stolen from the "safe".Or when ur property is in their safe keeping.

If you can't keep track of your own stuff, no one is to blame but YOU. It's good you reported it to the manager, but chances are you'll never see the stuff again--and there's pretty much nothing the manager can do about it.

First off, did you leave your items unsecured? Most hotels have a small safe in the closet that you can store your valuables in. If you didn't secure your stuff and it got stolen or "lost" as you claim that's your own fault.

As far as I am aware, unless there is a sign stating that the resort accept no rsponsibility for loss or theft on their premises then they are accountable.
