When I was 17, I dated a 27 year old, and it was nce, but for long time stuff, it's hard, too mature for the girl who still wants the freedom of being young, and 25 is young, but usually you're thinking more seriously about the future, where 17 isn't. But it can be a load of fun!

Yes, probably. I know a couple of too-young-girls who are always trying to get my attention and I'm 37. I think if you do care about this girl, you will let her mature a little more before starting something with her. While the age of consent (for sex) depends upon your location, there are other issues to consider as well as the legal point, which I am sure some here will be eager to jump on you over. My advice is to be mature and just be her friend for now. Give her about a year of being just friends to be sure of her feelings toward you. If she presses you, tell her that you like her as a friend, but you need time before making a commitment. You can be a good man here and do the right thing. If it is "true love," it will still be there next year.

Why not? There's a seven age gap between me and my bf (I'm currently 22) and the chemistry is great! But you would want to take it slow a bit at the start since she is 17 but there's nothing wrong in her fancying you.

Because women are typically drawn to older men...older men are more mature(usually) and have their life going in a direction that makes since to a 17 year old girl. Or it could just be he's handsome.

sure she would,, girls mature at a faster rate then guys so in todays world a 25 yo might be immature,, I sure know my 22 yo daughter 26 yo boyfriend acts like he is 16.
trouble with the 25 yo dating a 17 yo is if her parents wanted they could have him arrested for child molestation, and then his life is ruined FOREVER,, has to register as a sex offender if convicted,, It aint worth it,

Sure. Most guys their age are immature. And, it's a status symbol to have an older boyfriend.

Possibly, but it could get legally complicated. It sucks, but it's true. I would hold off on any "dating" until she's 18. But you could do things with groups of people!

yes it would, and posibly. i fancy who is older than me 5-6 years but my parents wouldn't agree, i didn't listen to them then after that my parents hate him, they hate the person i love. then we split up, i became his hate, and he became my hate also. we don't talk to each other any more but sometimes he stared at my face. but now he leaved, i cried, he hurt
