A.D.D. - what r u taking?

ok people with Attention Deficit Disorder, what meds are you on? i take Tegretol for seizures so i can't take a stimulant and have found success with 40mg Strattera and 200mg Provigil.... this Provigil stuff is great, i'm no longer in a constant state of tired yet i'm not feeling like i'm on speed... what have you found success with?

My doctor had me on Lamictal for it as an off label use. It is an anti-epileptic, so it may be great for you. With me, it actually just made me feel depressed all the time, so now I'm on good old fashioned Ritalin (which I also don't care for). Everybody's body is different, though.

36-72 mg of Concerta daily. It's 12 hr time release, so if my day runs longer than 12 hours I take two.

This has worked out perfectly for me, I felt like I was on speed at first, but that wore off, and by only taking 32 mg I can stop whenever I want (doctor's permission) without feeling the side effects.

They have me on Zitragul but I don't take it because most people think when they have OCD ADD and or ADHD they need something but truly you don't im going to school for nursing and I would n know its just all up in your mind when the doctors tell you you need it then your mind tells you you need it but you don't and I wish you the best of luck talk to a phycethrist about this he can help:]

Daytrana.

I've taken: Adderall (XR and Regular Release), Concerta, Focalin (XR and RR), Ritalin, and one other which I can't think of.

All of them but Daytrana has given me bad side effects. Daytrana is a patch, not something to be taken orally, so I can take it off when I don't need to be attentive. It's great!
