They have to be pedigree but any pedigree breed can enter. You have to have entered and won so many regional and national shows first.

Crufts entry is by qualification only. Your dog must have been successful in breed shows in order to qualify.
There are dog shows at various levels (Companion, Open, Championship) taking place all year round.
Most breeds are acceptable but there are a few rare breeds, or breeds not recognised by the Kennel Club, that are exempt.
The dogs that qualify for Crufts are ones that best represent the breed standard for their breed.

First the breed needs to be one recognized by the Kennel Club.
(No cross breeds except in obedience classes)
Secondly you need to qualify for Crufts and you do that by winning a class at a Championship show and thereby being awarded a Challenge certificate.
Third your dog cannot have been spayed or neutered.
Your dog-to be successful- must conform to the breed standard and perform well in the ring.
Fourth -your dog must be registered with the Kennel Club and entered under its pedigree name

You have to have a dog registered with the Kennel Club. Then you enter dog shows anywhere in the country and be placed 1st, 2nd,or 3rd in that show. Then in January apply to the Kennel Club in London and they will send you the necessary entry forms. The dog has to be a recognised breed by the Kennel Club.

in certainty to be entered into the conformation training, canines no longer in basic terms could be KC Registered, yet they could qualify to be entered at Crufts. Qualification is concerning wins/classification places on the particularly some different Championship shows held around the country throughout the previous 365 days. as quickly as particular wins/places are complete, and clearly a Championship identify, a canines is then 'completely qualified' meaning they do no longer could re-qualify throughout the previous 365 days. in the journey that your Springer has no papers, regrettably she would have the capacity to't be entered at KC run shows. she would have the capacity to pass into the particularly some exciting shows, held at fetes and gala's throughout the 365 days whether. pass to the Kennel club website for complete suggestions approximately Crufts - no longer something to stop you traveling this massive coach, yet you could no longer take your canines in with you i'm afraid. upload - canines competing at Crufts do no longer could be invited and neither is there any decrease on entries, as there is at Westminster for eg. it particularly is all right down to qualification.

OK..first of all your dog has to be a pure breed that is actually recognised by the kennel club (there are breeds that are classed as 'import register' and are not fully recognised by the KC meaning that they do not have full show recognition and cannot be shown at qualifying shows and therefore cannot be shown at crufts-except in the discover dogs section) it has also to be of excellent quality (closely adhere to the breed standard) to be able to be shown. your dog can be entered at open shows but must win best in show, reserve best in show or best puppy in show to qualify, or you can enter a championship show and win a 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the following classes...minor puppy, puppy, junior, post graduate, limit, open or veteran. you do NOT have to win the challenge certificate to qualify-a CC gives your dog its 'stud book number' and will be crufts qualified for life!

your dog CAN be neutered but you must inform the kennel club and ask their permission to show your dog. i know because one of my girls was neutered (with permission) qualified for crufts and won reserve in the veteran class!
edit....a list of breeds that cannot be shown at crufts....
Listed below are those breeds, recognised by the Kennel Club, which have not yet gained CC status. Breeds with an asterix beside them do not currently have a breed standard, and therefore are not yet eligible for exhibition. the rest can only be shown in 'imported register' classes and cannot qualify for crufts!

Your dog just can't enter any top dog show. Your dog must earn it's way into a top dog show. This is a long process and your dog must be a top contender for it's breed.
They don't let just anyone enter their pet!!!!
