My ex broke up with me(yea he cheated and stuff) he said he didnt wanna settle so he ended stuff, so i asked him what do i mean to him he said im the love of his life. But im thinkn if a guy tells u ure the love of his life why isnt he here with u, i mean when ure the love of someone's life ure supposed to be together, not apart, if im the love of his life why doesnt he want to settle down.

If he's cheating on you and all that, then you might not be the love of his life. Obviously he still wants to play the field and be with other women. Ask yourself, do you really want to be with someone who would cheat on you. I think he was just trying to let you down easy.

Oh my word...it's like we are living the same life - exactly the same happened to me.
My ex also said 'I don't want to settle' etc etc all the boring clichés that don't make sense when he claims to be so 'madly in love' with you. It's confusing I know, but the more time you spend apart, the clearer the actual reasons for the break up will become, ie I have now come to realize that my ex wants his freedom to screw around some more (only this time not while in a relationship). Girl, let me tell you what's gonna happen - he claims you're the love of his life, right? Well he's gonna want things both ways - your his favorite girl, but just not his only girl.
Don't let him string you along, he's gonna hurt you. Make a clean break. See my previous q..

Phobia of marriages. He senses that you're ready for the big commitment and isn't ready. His parents might be divorced, that's why he can't get married, because he is too afraid. Try to bring up the subject of hos [parents subtly if he has never told you about it before.
He is too insecure about that. If you don't want to get ,married either, I'm sure you can keep each other. Otherwise it's time for a long talk. You probably want to assure him that you love him and that you will never leave him and all.... depending on nwhat he wants to hear from you. Men can feel insecure too!
Try to get him to open up. Worst come to worst, you two realise your priorties are too different and break nup due to that. At least you won't be left hanging in the air.
You have to ask him what he means if possible, you have to ask, even though it's not that easy, it's for your happiness... all the best!

he doesn't want to settle down for one reason....he likes playing with lots of girls....hate to burst your bubble but chances are he has told more than one that they are the "love of his life".....good luck to you....

maybe because he is afraid of commitment and just doesn't know how to reveal that to you...but whatever you do don't pressure him...or you could scare him off
