the books & websites say that it only takes 2 weeks to hatch - is something wrong?

My Doves have laid eggs too. I'm told that they will take it in turns to sit on the eggs for about 21 days, one squab will hatch then a couple of days later the other one. If the eggs have been fertilised, they should hatch, if not don't worry, the Doves may still be fairly young, they'll produce squabs soon, perhaps July onwards

The eggs must be clear. Hold the egg upto a light and you will be able to see.

Perhaps they weren't fertilized. Try candling them to check for a baby bird inside. Sometimes they get to a certain stage and just die.

With no male bird to fertilize, you may just have three eggs. Heat up the frying pan...

i dont think anythings wrong. they are probbably just late dont worry bout them, give em time

Were they fertilised. If not then all you have is omlette material.
