as you know limewire is a file share program that is used primarily for the illegal sharing of music and othor copy right protected contents. so the problem is you. the sources are other individuals like you who may or may not be online and may or may not be sharing the song title you want.
just do the legal thing and buy the song you like.
if you really want to risk a hefty fine or jail then continue to use limewire. the only way around this error is to re do a search for the file you want. if you are lucky you will get a file that is error free and virus or other malware free. but in my experiance many years ago every other file was infected with one kind of malware or another. some of which ended up wip[ing out everything on a computers hard drive once i had something that wiped out and killed a hard drive making the drive unrecoverable. so if you want to risk that fine it is your choice. and just because you have amac it does not mean you are not going to be affected by malware. if it is new your defense package may not be able to detect and block the problem.
or may be your malware defense suite has detected malware in the file you are attempting to download and instead of it warning you, it is causing limewire to malfunction.

Hi BadGirl,

Your Limewire isn't connecting to the network properly.

On the top bar select Tools then Options. Now select Connections and check the "Connect On Startup" box.

That should get you going again.

My advice....you need to make this question in the limewire forum. The "lime snobs" there really know their stuff.

Oh and read the frequent asked questions first, maybe you'll find answers there without having to post.

Good luck ....
