When my parents were raising their doberman puppies(they got 2) they purchased this forumla called Urine Gone. I think wal-mart might have it. I am not exactly sure where tho. I am sure that Pet Smart might have it. But, after you clean up the mess, you spray it on there and it can be for urine accidents and soil accidents. It has enzymes in it to where it breaks down the remaining mess that you can't get up, and it literally gets it out. You don't have to wipe up the Urine gone...You just spray it on there and it does it's magic. It also takes the smell out that dogs can smell but we can't smell. That is why they go in the same spot often.

And you might want to crate her at night. She will not go in the crate because dogs cannot stand to sit/sleep in their own feces.

If she’s an adult dog, she should be able to hold it through the night. If she’s still a puppy, you may need to take her out some time during the night to prevent accidents. Puppies just can’t hold it for as long as dogs can.

Also, clean the rug completely, eliminating all traces of urine, or she will just keep going there. Even better, you may even want to put the rug away until this dog is completely trained. Removing favorite rugs is the first thing I do when I get a pup.

You need to use a crate so she can't get out and use the rug. If you can't buy a crate then a sectioned off part of the kitchen or even the bathroom is fine. Or if you want, have her sleep with you. I did this with my pup since the day she came home. I was able to keep her with me and she'd come a lick my fce at night if she needed to go out. I think this actaully helped her learn to hold it as she's been sleeping through the night since she was 2 1/2 months old.

You need to crate your dog at night. She's building a nice history of pottying on your carpet and you (obviously) want to stop that AND get some sleep too. Crate her so that she can't potty in the house, and be sure to reward her a bunch for making the right potty choice.....
Haveing her checked at the vet for a UTI would be a good idea too.

If she has used this rug before to pee on then that may be your answer. You'll need to clean the rug and get rid of any smell of her pee. Once the area is very clean then I suggest you crate your dog at night so it can't roam and soil your house.

The best thing to do would be to crate her at night.

another would be to leash her to your bed so she can't get to the room with the rug.

I would crate her at night, and try bell training her. stick a string with a bell attached to the bottom and teach her to ring it before she goes outside. then when you hear the bell take her out. and if she starts playing with the bell for fun take her out right away so she learns to not do that for fun.

If you crate her at night you won't have to worry about her soiling your carpet. She will learn to hold her potty urges as she won't soil her "den". I do this and it works well.
