i've only ever met one person, and i swear never again. I was young and naive, and had been emailing this guy for months. we got on really well and arranged to meet after a few phone calls. I said i was bringing a friend and he said no problem but when we met he was soo quite, didn't talk at all. conversation was soo difficult. might have been cos my friend was there but don't know. do know that people online aren't necessarily like that in person

The absolute wort Internet "dating" experience I had was when I was about 16 I was talking to guy one afternoon in a chat room. Anyway he had a web cam and wanted me to see what he looked like. I said no at first - I'm not into all that cyber stuff but then I said ok. What I was faced with was the image of a fat hairy old man wearing white y fronts touching himself up!!!!!!! I disconnected straight away!! I'll never get the image out of my head I think its scarred me for life! It was funny at the time but looking back he was quite clearly some sort of paedophile! It just goes to show there really are a l ot of weirdos out there.

I met a wicked girl we split due to distance but she was well cool I used to think internet dating was for oddballs now I think it is the way forward at least you have chatted before you meet. My brother met his wife online as well and there very happy with second child on the way. I used to pull in bars, being drunk isn`t a good way of meeting and as far as weirdos go I think they are everywhere not just online

I don't date, but I've chatted with people online. The men are pretty much ALL weird. Been stalked cross-country by more than one. Go out into the real world and leave the cyber world for the people you already know...IN PERSON.

Once I went out with a single guy who was 2-3 years younger than me, it turned out that he was 10 years older then me and had 5 children and two wives.

I took a chance once & met a fem without seeing her pic. she was black & BIG (as in MASSIVE)). OK np I thought a drink or 2 is fine.
she followed me home said she needed a P. I let her go to the bathroom & she took herself off to my bed !! it took me ages & all my strength to get her out.

Men purporting to be women are the worst form of weirdoism on here.
