My bf said " i think i am falling for you". what does that mean?

We have been together about 3 mths, friends for a year before that... he said it while we were at the hospital, he was getting fluids for dehydrations. So maybe he was just dillusional.... who knows, not sure what that statement meant. He started it off by saying..."i don't want to piss you off or make you upset...but i think i am falling for you..." it was said in the context of one of those moments where you and your bf are talkin about stuff...so who knows.... i guess if he says it again or follows it up with something else, that should be the real indicator.

It's a way to say he has deep feelings for you without having to say the all-consuming "L" word.

He may not be that deeply and madly in love with you before becoming your boyfriend and is checking to see if he's got the chance to take you as his lawful wife. Or probably, he wants to find out from you on where this relationship is leading to.

It means He love's you but he isn't sure about it...
Or either he wants to get into your pants and wants to look as nice as he can in front of you.. but then again can't judge him by his words.. So the next time he say's "I think I am falling in love with you" ask him "You think? or are you sure about it" but dont sound pist or needy..

Most likely "I think I am falling in love with you". He wants to feel sure before he actually says "I love you" though...but you don't say how long you've been with him, so it's hard to answer.

Knowing how insincere most guys are....he's either really falling in love with you or he just wants to get in your pants. Time will tell.

Well in my day that means he's likes you alot and he may be falling in love with you. That was in my day. Now a days it could mean anything.
