Sure. Anything to raise money for the state coffers.

The parking lot costs money to maintain (blacktop, paint, security, etc.) so it's only fair to expect those who get the benefits to share the cost.

In Cypress TX (NW Houston suburb) the schools charge $35 per year per vehicle so it your children use more than one family car you have to pay for two ... $70 for parking at the school where I already pay school taxes of over $3500 per year.

They do charge. I dont think it is fair. The tax money we pay, should pay for that as well. Kids need to get to school and stay in school. We make all these rules and laws that make it difficult on students and thier families!
