If you are taking a commercial airline flight from Toronto-Pearson Int'l airport (YYZ) to Chennai Int'l airport (MAA), the quickest trip time will be 19h 50min with a stop in Frankfurt airport (FRA).
Lufthansa flight LH471 departs YYZ at 17:30 and arrives in FRA at 7:25 after a 7h 55min flight. You'll have 3h 15min in Frankfurt before LH758 departs at 10:40 and arrives in MAA at 23:50 with a flight time of 8h 40min. This option is available everyday.
