If you save up beforehand then no. Its if you get yourself into debt to start and keep borrowing more to keep playing to try and win your losses back, if you stop when you've lost what you intended to use then you're fine no matter how much it is if your happy thats its going on gambling and not something else.

That is a lot of money to throw away. Some games are fixed so you are guaranteed to lose... maybe they'll let you win a small amount to encourage you to put it all in so they make a profit out of your hard earned money.

Sorry darling but it is all a big con. You'd be better off saving up... even if its small amounts every month in a savings account that you just leave alone while you have another account set up for general spending and bills.

Maybe you need to find another hobby or something to fulfill the 'emptiness'.

Why not try Extreme sports or something like that. They give you Adrenaline rush!

You're not a compulsive gambler!!! If you were then you'd be back there tonight trying to get your money back. I learned the hard way that Casino's and Bookmakers are a road to ruin. If you can control the amount you gamble then I wouldn't be too concerned. If you can't control the amount you gamble then I would seek help from a local Gamblers Annonymous.

I used to work in a casino and I've seen the worst that gambling can do to people and I DON'T think you have anything to worry about. If you gamble everything you have and even go into debt beacuse of it, then you have a problem.

That's a lot to lose dude. Unless you play pro poker then it's an occupational hazard. If you were gambling against the house I'd say you had a bit of a problem. A normal person would have stopped long before 2 grand

I do not think that you have a problem. You are portioning money away with the idea of spending it at a specific spot. What is different about saving for months and months to take a trip to Hawaii or Dsineyland? As long as your basic needs are met, how you spend your money is up to you. Sounds like the only problem you have is losing - LOL. People who are addicted to gambling bet on everything, without thought of consequence, or how much money they will owe.

Good luck on future endeavors.

when you lose that much, well you have a problem!! that's you don't know how to play or you're unlucky.. if i lost that much money , i think i would cry!!!

i go to casino pretty often and just to have fun. sometimes a win like 1000 of my money [ less than 18 pounds] and i don't play more than 10 pounds when i do.. but my bf plays like 30 pounds on roulette and the most he won is 400pounds...

its different in different countries but when you play you have to examine the machine, whether its poker or roulette!

Where did you go on holiday last year?

Where did the Casino owner go?

Does that answer your question?

It sounds like you think you havea problem - so probably YES. But if you have decided you don't have to suffer too much for a once in a while blow-out then who else suffers ?
