hello, i need some help with some software i have downloaded, when i run it , it is saying the software setup.exe is not a valid win 32 application, can anyone tell me what this means,

The file you downloaded may be corrupt download it again just to see, sometimes you can get that error with windows xp when the file you tried to open is meant for windows for win 98 or before although that's rare

Possibilities:

1. The software you downloaded is intended for x64 systems and yours is x86 (32-bit as opposed to 64-bit)

2. The installation files are corrupted. Delete and try to re-download.

my opinion is that you don't finished to download the software. Try to delete the setup.exe and download again.

You need to re-install your OS (Operating System) So re install Windows, what ever one you have, this problem normally assists with Windows 98.

What operating system have you got?
