It sounds like you don't have a sense of humor.
I hope you've apologized to him for overreacting, if you haven't he probably is thinking of breaking up.

Anyone who thinks hitting their wife or any woman falls in the line of a "sense of humor" has a problem. I don't have all the details.. so maybe he was trying to find out how you felt on this subject and instead he got something that implied something was wrong with him. Maybe he knows you well and said it so it would be his easy way out to breaking up with you.

The one with issues is him. If he wants to play games by ignoring you, well, that's childish. Chill and see if he calls you. If he doesn't, he isn;t giving you any respect so don't lose sleep over him. No decent or sane man can expect to make that kind of comment and find it funny. I would have expected him to apologise on making such a remark instead of ignoring you like that.

I think this is how boys are..... even in my case if I say something which known new to me to my g/f... she starts comparing with our life and gets upset are start reacting.... but thats nature of girls... anyways theres nothing wrong.... he will come back to you, infact he is just in a thought why you said these things to you when he did not mean it..... call him back and say him that you asked for a sake and did not mean it.... he is all yours....best of luck

Maybe...and I am just guessing...he feels stupid for saying that. Now he's sulking or brooding because you were right and he doesn't want to admit it. They do that (sulk). ESPECIALLY when you are right. He will probably say that he was just joking and "how could you think I was serious" (and he possibly wasn't) to make you feel bad. Ugh...good LUCK! MEN!!!

Ever think of asking him yourself? Oh, that's right...it's like getting a handshake instead of a kiss

sounds like he's testing his limits with you to see how you'll respond.. either that or he just likes playing mind games.. he's either physically abusive or at least emotionally abusive.. you're probably better off moving on..
