Grilled Tuna Steak
1 LB. Tuna 55 min 45 min prep
1/4 cup olive oil
4 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
2 teaspoons lime juice
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 lb tuna steaks
Combine Olive Oil, Old Bay, Lime and Lemon Juice.
Mix Well.
Pour over Tuna Steaks and marinade 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
Make sure grill is hot – place steaks in hottest section and Sear steaks 1 to 2 minutes per side to seal in the juices.
Finish cooking just slightly away from the hottest area – 8 to 10 minutes per inch of thickness.
My husband likes extra Old Bay on his steak so he sprinkles extra on before cooking and we also like to squeeze fresh lemon over our tuna before we eat it.

Seared Tuna Steak W/Wasabi-Green Onion Mayo
4 servings 30 min 20 min prep
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream (or you can use all mayo)
2 tablespoons of chopped green onions, white & green parts
1 teaspoon wasabi paste (or if you have the wasabi powder use that and add a little water to make your own paste)
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon unseasoned rice vinegar
1 teaspoon grated ginger
32 ounces tuna steaks
Whisk first 3 ingredients in small bowl, cover and refrigerate --
Whisk teriyaki, soy, vinegar and I also added some grated ginger to make your marinade -- Marinate and refrigerate your tuna steaks for several hours -- Remove from fridge while the grill heats up. Brush grill and fish lightly with oil and salt & pepper. Grill tuna on high heat for 2 mins, turn over and grill 2 mins on high heat to sear, then lower temp and grill until desired doneness -- Serve with the yummy wasabi sauce!
Grilled Tuna Steak
This is a yummy and quick dish. Don't over cook. I like my tuna still pink inside. Left overs are great cold on a green salad!

2 garlic cloves, crushed and minced finely
1/4 inch fresh ginger, grated

chili pepper flakes
Put all marinade ingredients into a zip-lock bag shake and add tuna.
Zip and chill for 2 hours.
Place steaks on a hot grill. And marinade in pot and reduce to half.
And turn after 3 minutes and cook for three more minutes.Place on serving dish and pour reduced marinade over steaks.
Pepper- Grilled Tuna Steak With Parsley- Garlic Butter
4 servings 25 min 15 min prep
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 cup freshly cracked black pepper
4 (8 ounce) tuna steaks, at least 1 inch thick
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
1/4 cup roughly chopped fresh parsley
Make the butter: Combine butter, garlic, lemon juice and parsley and mix well. Cover and refrigerate.
In another small bowl, combine the salt and pepper and mix well. Press the tuna steaks into the mixture and coat on all sides; drizzle tuna lightly with olive oil.
Grill over a medium-hot fire for 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare, depending on thickness.
Serve with a large spoonful on the butter on top of each steak.

Grind some onion, green chillies [alternately use tobasco sauce], coriander leaves [cilantro],a few cloves of garlic [or garlic powd.],jeera, & salt to taste.
Add some lemon juice & sugar to the abv paste.
Marinate the steak by smearing the abv paste & keep for half hour or so & then shallow fry in some vegetable oil on both sides and serve hot with some salad.
PS --- U may coat the steak with bread crumbs before frying, to secure the green paste to the fish.

Grilled Tuna w/ Nectarine Relish
4 fresh tuna steaks, 1 inch thick
4 tablespoons oil
salt
fresh ground pepper
Relish Ingredients
1 red bell pepper, julienned
6 firm ripe nectarines, peeled and sliced
1 medium red onion, julienned
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 cup julienned fresh basil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup olive oil
---In a bowl, add all the relish ingredients; toss to combine; season with salt and pepper to taste (mixture will be slighly runny).Chill relish until ready to serve.
Rub tuna steaks with oil and season with salt and pepper.
Grill 4-5 minutes per side over medium-hot grill (do no overcook). To serve: spoon relish onto individual plates.
Place tuna steak on top of relish.
