I was wondering if this has happened to any of you...

I went to the dentist the other day and got a cavity filled. Of course, they used a needle to numb my gums and stuff.

Well, when some girl was cleaning up after I left, she got stuck on my needle that they used.

So, this girl is freaking out and stuff thinking she has hepititus or AIDs and asked me to get a bloodtest. I agreed, like anyone would.

When I was told this, I couldn't stop laughing from the fact that someone thought they were going to die from being stuck with my needle.

I mean, C'mon! I'm only 13. Last time I checked, it's not often that people my age have stuff like this, but anyway. I go to get tested today.

Has anything like this happened to you?
Has someone been stuck on your needle?
Have you been stuck on someone else's?
Reactions?

Do share.
I love hearing you guy's opinions, thoughts, and stories.
:]

To some people:

I said it wasn't often people 13 have it.
Not that they can't get it.

And, just because your mom has herpes doesn't mean you do. I mean damn, you're not having sex with her and you don't definitely rub her herpes-infested towels on your face. D:<

I recently had $4000.00 worth of dental cosmetics done and i got 10 shots of anestesia (nova cane) in one sitting. It's her own fault for not taking the proper precautions when cleaning up.

The test is necessary and important. You may not have symptoms but could have been exposed to any number of diseases and illnesses during your short lifetime. People who care for people with AIDS and hepatitis should spend extra effort in being clean and hygienic, but you never, never can be too careful.

And we don't know what your parents were exposed to prior to and after conceiving you. Ever heard of mono, herpes or meningitis?

13 year olds can have aids and hepatitis. she had no right to ask u to get tested for anything, she should be the one getting testing seeing that she was the stuck with the needle.

to u its silly because of your age and lack of life experience but to her the danger is real.

In any medical enviorment you always assume that the patient is HIV or Hep postive until proven otherwise. That's just the way it is. Being 13 doesn't protect one from HIV or any other nasty diseases.
