Which part of Britain are you talking about? Yeah we have some industrial areas that are not what you might call pleasing to the eye(Sorry Sheffield but I'm looking at you) but overall there's a lot of beauty in Britain from Sussex to the Dales, the Lake Country, Midlands, etc. There are some areas in Britain that just like every other industrialized nation(U.S., Germany, Russia, France, Japan, etc. etc.) that are quite an eyesore but give us another chance and we'll try to make your visit better. Come to the North Country or Lake District and I promise you won't find a speck of dust or a hint of groddiness(sp?). Oh yeah we can't find the money because our government is crap and we're broke.
