I'm married to one. He goes off to work everyday - quite often for a whole week in France, Spain, Moscow, Germany, Greece. He is a sports fanatic & regularly does marathons, 1/2 marathons etc - he goes to the gym every morning & chats with the guys, goes for a run at lunchtime - another chat with another load of guys.
I stay at home &look after the kids. Yes, my life is boring compared to his.

I have been in this situation (being the boring lame one). You just have to raise your game and learn from the more exciting person. It is probably because they are more confident and have a better sense of what they like and how to get it. Learn and then do the same.

How about you find someone interesting to share a hobby.

Ah, come on, no one is THAT exciting!
You temporarily lost your self-confidence, that's all.
So what if this person does interesting things, that in itself doesn't make him/her an interesting person, he/she could be as dull as anyone!
Your personalty is what makes you interesting for others, not what you do while they are not around!

No, but I did have it the other way! The guy was sooo boring, I immediately felt a whole lot better about myself. Not about him though. One date was all he got.

Then, these couples are not compatible with each other.
Find another one that makes you feel right.
