Because he exploits their faith which is so strong, they'll believe anything with "God" attached to it. Popoff is the kind of Christian I despise to the center of my being. Not because he's "Christian", but because he preys on the weak minded.

James Randi proved that Popoff is a liar, and his "healing" sessions were outright abusive: I have videotape of Popoff physically abusing elderly people while he steals their money. I can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to follow that guy.
Oh, god, and now he's peddling "miracle spring water"?
I see he has put on quite a bit of weight - hopefully he'll have his own serious health problems soon. I want to see that b tard crippled by arthritis.

Why do you assume he's even Christian? Jesus said that you'll know those who are truly His by their fruit. Peter Popoff has been proven to be a fraud years ago. He's back on TV now...which appalls me, but his deceitful ways are not the fruit of a genuine Christian.
