Supporting Scripture

Isaiah 42: 1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. 5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Luke 2:10 - And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

Matthew 24:14 - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Luke 10:1 - After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

Your answer:

If you read the Bible you will find that in the beginning of the Ministry Jesus offered salvation first to the Jewish people who rejected him because of the leadership.

Once the Jewish leadership of the Temple had begun to use God's law to reject God, Jesus, the Messiah, the Branch of David, opened salvation to all people as was foretold in Isaiah.

PS: This is usually a question by Muslims who are told that Jesus was a prophet who came only to lead the lost sheep of Israel and that Muhammad is the Prophet meant to spread the word of God to all the world. The word or Law of God was spread by Christianity, the Torah or first five books of the Old Testament, is the record of the Law.

PPS: Jesus did fulfill the Messianic Prophesies, the most obvious one is the distribution of the Torah to all people through the Bible. The Temple was rebuilt inside of all mankind, our bodies are our Temples. I could go on, but, the unsaved will always rely on their own understanding. Those who accept God's leadership in their lives will rely on the Holy Ghost to guide them in understanding.

The Unity among Christians was there a long time ago, until Henry the VIII and Martin Luther decided to make up their own churches. This began the Protestant churches which are now called the Christian churches. But the unity is in the Catholic Church. Jesus was sent to all mankind. He is the Savior of the world. He is the Son of God. God made Flesh. The Incarnate Word of God. The Incarnate Son of God. He was a Jew but the Jews rejected Him. They are still waiting for the Messiah. Jesus is the Messiah. God is universal. Jesus is universal. Catholic means universal. He is for all people. He died also for the Jews even if they rejected Him. That is how He loved them and how He loves us all. He is the Son of God which is why the whole world follows the Christian calendar. The year 2007 is more or less the age of Jesus if He were alive today. A. D and B. C. indicates that the whole world determines time based on the birth of Christ, the Son of God, who became a Man to save all men from their sins and from eternal fire.

You are correct: Matthew 15:24 24 He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." However, that was not the whole story, there were others that he needed to call, but he personally was only sent to the lost sheep of Israel. Matthew 28:18-20 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in {Or into; see Acts 8:16; 19:5; Rom. 6:3; 1 Cor. 1:13; 10:2 and Gal. 3:27.} the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." That's not to say Jesus wasn't ultimately responsible for the entire population: John 10:16 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. This principle of calling the Jews first then the Samaritans then the gentiles is the pattern followed by the book of Acts and Paul outlined this in his defence: Acts 1:8 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 26:20 20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles also, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.

Jesus was sent to the Jews first. But as a whole they rejected him because they could not recognize their time of visitation, But there was some Jews that did accept him, Then His gospel went to the Gentiles, & we have had it now for 2000 yrs. & now it is leaving the Gentiles & will be going back to the Jews at the very endtime. Why do you think Jews are going back home, we even had a bunch here in the USA leave to go & live in Israel, here in the USA they had everything made, Peace, a Job, a Home, Not afraid going to sleep at night, & they choose to go back to Israel. Do you know why, They said they knew Israel is their land, & I agree.

We are all son of God.
In the thirds month of pregnancy God blow his soul to the baby and turn him to an individual human been.

Jesus miracle is that he has no human father.
His mother become pregnant in him just by an dierect order from God not throught sexcual intercase.

And Yes Jesus was sent as a prophet to the Tribe of Israel only. His teaching was not meant to be international.
Saint Polose added to Jesus teaching from his own and created Christianity and spread it into the world.

His MISSION vs. his IMPACT...

The mission was stated as "to the lost sheep of Israel," but even at his birth we are reminded of the universal scope which his life would take on...

Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy. It is for ALL the people.

The universality of the MESSAGE is made clear in scripture:
Romans 1:16 I am not ashamed of the good news, God’s power to save. It was meant first for the Jews, but it is meant also for those who aren’t Jews.

He wasn't sent to the Jews, he was just born Jewish. Besides the Jews were the hardest to convert. Some of them still don't believe. God does everything for a reason. Trust in Him.

To fulfill the promise God made to Abraham...that He would make him the father of many nations. God used Israel to bring about the Messiah who came to the Jews & also (after their rejection of Him) to the Gentiles as well. And through Christ the promises that God made to His servant Abraham are being fulfilled.

Jesus wasn't 'sent' to the Jews, he WAS a Jew. The God they refer to is the God of the Jews, not the real one.
